The best part? It’s not only simple to use, but it’s also entirely free and requires no downloads!
Our gratis blackjack counting trainer can be tailored to accommodate any blackjack variant you wish to play. If you’re a novice or need a refresher, we first recommend perusing our ‘How to Play Blackjack’ article to understand the fundamentals or give your existing knowledge a timely boost. If you’re already confident, you can bypass this and dive straight into the game!
As stated, our complimentary Blackjack Trainer is exceptionally user-friendly and easy to utilise. You can customise your settings to match the variant you wish to play, practise a few rounds first, or simply press the ‘Deal’ button to begin the game instantly. By clicking the ‘Help’ button, you can view the game rules and modify your options.
Seven different options are available to be adjusted within the Blackjack Trainer. These can be altered by selecting the ‘Options’ button. The following settings will then be available for tweaking:
Do you want the Dealer to hit or stand on a soft 17?
Note that if the Dealer hits on a soft 17, it diminishes the player’s chances of winning. Ideally, they should stand on a soft 17 for optimal odds.
Do you want the option to double down after splitting?
You can configure the trainer to permit doubling down only after every split or to allow this only after your initial move and not after splitting.
Do you want to include the surrender option?
Surrender is typically not allowed in single-deck blackjack games, but it can be an advantageous option for the player if permitted in the variant you choose to play. You can configure the trainer to allow you to retain half of your wager by folding your hand after seeing the Dealer’s hole card.
How many decks would you like to use?
2 decks
4 decks
6 decks
8 decks (most common in Vegas blackjack games)
What payout would you prefer?
Blackjack games with 6-8 decks usually offer a 3:2 payout. For single or double-deck games, the payout is typically 6:5. You can select the payout ratio you’d like the trainer to utilise.
How often, if at all, do you want the option to re-split your hands?
All blackjack games permit you to split your hands the first time, but some don’t allow it if you receive identical cards again. In most blackjack variations, you can re-split up to three times unless you get the same cards again.
How challenging do you want the game to be?
Hard – the trainer will present more complex scenarios.
Splits Only – practise splitting hands.
Soft Hands Only – play only hands that include an ace.
Random Mode – randomise the card shuffling.
After you’ve set your preferences, the blackjack chart will be updated to reflect the most optimal playing strategy. The chart can be viewed by selecting the ‘Help’ button, which will overlay on the screen and provide you with the right moves for your initial game.
From this point, just press the ‘Deal’ button, and you’re all set!
The primary purpose of the Blackjack Trainer is to help you flawlessly implement a blackjack strategy. You’ll start the game with €1,000 in play money, and every move you make will be monitored to provide you with an accuracy rating upon game completion.
Your goal is to ensure each move is perfect, best achieved by referring to the blackjack strategy chart. Once confident, you should strive to play without referencing it.
In the following screenshot, you’ll see that this player has achieved a 96% accuracy rating. This calculation is based on the proportion of correct moves made (24) to incorrect moves (1).
Keep in mind that your score is the most crucial factor when using our Blackjack Trainer, more so than your bankroll’s size. You may occasionally win due to a lucky hand, but overall, your strategy will provide the best chances of long-term blackjack success.
To master and implement an unbeatable blackjack strategy, aim to adhere to every move delineated in the blackjack charts of the version you wish to play. Every blackjack chart in our trainer automatically adjusts and presents the optimal moves you should make, depending on the specific rules and settings you establish.
Our charts offer detailed guidance on how to strategically play your hand based on the options you’ve chosen and the rules applicable to the Dealer’s up card.
When consulting our blackjack charts, the number listed horizontally across the top corresponds to the Dealer’s visible card. On the chart’s left column, you can cross-reference your hand with the Dealer’s to determine your best move.
Naturally, the recommended moves differ for each chart, particularly when the Dealer stands or hits on a soft 17.
You’ll also find this true for options like re-splits. Even though the chart remains consistent for these actions, it’s still necessary to evaluate your potential moves. For instance, if you choose to permit re-splits in your chosen game and receive a third eight against a six after splitting the first two eights, the Blackjack Trainer analyses this to guide you towards the correct decision, i.e., it will recommend you to split again. If re-splits are not allowed, the trainer will advise you to make the correct move: to stand.
Employing our Blackjack Trainer is a straightforward and effective method to become acquainted with the game’s workings and to learn the most optimal moves in any variation. However, a couple of aspects should be kept in mind when consulting our blackjack charts.
And that concludes the basic rundown! We understand that it may take a bit of time to familiarise yourself with the Blackjack Trainer’s functionality, but once you’ve played a few games, it’ll feel like a stroll in the park. Things will become significantly more thrilling – especially as you see your bankroll gradually increasing!
